This Acceptable Use & Content Policy governs the content you submit to and the way you use buckscountyautismresources.com, operated by Bucks County Autism Resources (“BCAR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It applies to all visitors, members, and anyone who submits a listing or other content. By using the Site, you agree to this policy, which supplements our Terms of Service.
Our Role
Bucks County Autism Resources is a curated directory. We review submissions and reserve the right to accept, decline, edit, or remove any listing or content at our discretion, with or without notice, to keep the directory accurate, respectful, and useful for families.
Content Standards
When you submit a listing or any other content, you agree that it will be truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge; that you own the business or organization or are authorized to submit it; that you have the right to use any text, images, or logos included; and that it relates genuinely to autism, disability, or family resources relevant to our community.
Prohibited Content and Conduct
You may not submit content or use the Site to: post false, misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent information; impersonate another person, business, or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation; post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, threatening, or obscene; share another person’s private or identifying information without permission; post spam, irrelevant promotions, or repetitive listings; infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right; upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other accounts, or our systems; scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site without our written permission; or interfere with or disrupt the Site’s normal operation.
Special Care for a Vulnerable Community
Because our directory serves families navigating autism and disability — including children and vulnerable individuals — we hold submissions to a high standard. We may decline or remove any listing that we believe could mislead, exploit, or harm members of this community, even if it does not violate a specific rule above. Providers making false or unverifiable claims about credentials, outcomes, “cures,” or qualifications may be removed.
Reporting a Concern
If you see content that you believe is inaccurate, inappropriate, or in violation of this policy, please report it to us at [INSERT CONTACT EMAIL]. We review reports and take action at our discretion. Reporting something does not guarantee a specific outcome.
Enforcement
We may take any action we consider appropriate for a violation of this policy, including editing or removing content, declining future submissions, suspending or terminating an account or membership (without refund), and, where appropriate, reporting conduct to the relevant authorities.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
