Bucks IU Transition Services

The Bucks County Intermediate Unit (Bucks IU) offers transition programs that prepare students with special needs for life after high school — independent living, post-secondary education, and employment. Options include part-time Transition Programs for students ages 16-21 and full-time Post-Secondary Programs for ages 18-21, plus Project SEARCH, a workplace-immersion internship program (hosted at the County of Bucks offices) for students pursuing competitive employment.
