Special Equestrians

Special Equestrians is a PATH International Premier Accredited therapeutic riding center on 40 acres in Warrington, serving children and adults with disabilities across Bucks and surrounding counties. Founded in 1982, it offers therapeutic (adaptive) riding, unmounted horsemanship, and hippotherapy delivered by certified instructors and occupational and physical therapists, working with riders who meet criteria for more than 60 diagnoses including autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. The facility includes indoor and outdoor arenas and a 24-station Sensory Trail. Programs serve riders ages 3 and up regardless of ability to pay, with need-based scholarships for about 30% of riders.
