PEAL Center (Parent Education & Advocacy Leadership)

The PEAL Center is a statewide nonprofit that educates and empowers families of children with disabilities and special health-care needs. Trained parent advisors help families understand their child’s disability, the IEP process, and their rights, and there is no cost to speak with an advisor. PEAL also offers free workshops, recorded webinars, and a self-paced online course on the IEP process. Families can call Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
