Action Karate Jamison — Special Needs Martial Arts

Action Karate offers a special-needs martial arts program for children and adults, with a curriculum originally designed by a 4th-degree black belt whose doctoral work focused on martial arts for students with special needs. Classes are adapted to each student’s ability level and have welcomed participants who are non-verbal, use wheelchairs or canes, or have autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, anxiety, and more, with the goal of building confidence, focus, coordination, and social skills in a supportive group setting.
