Helping Friendly Farm

Helping Friendly Farm in New Hope is a therapeutic farm designed for individuals with disabilities and their families, combining animals, nature, and safe sensory exploration. Founded by a former special-education teacher, the farm features a sensory barn with multiple rooms, including a chill room and a meditation light room, plus gentle, specially raised animals (goats, miniature donkeys, potbellied pigs, and chickens) that are familiar with wheelchairs and adaptive equipment, and a hands-on garden. Visits are by reservation, with families typically having the farm to themselves; sensory seekers and sensory avoiders are scheduled at separate times, and no proof of diagnosis is required.
